Janel Campbell

Janel grew up in Seattle Washington, and has lived in northern Utah and Jackson Hole Wyoming. She is very people oriented and highly trained in service.  She has worked for 15 years as the assistant to the Vice President of Public Relations and Development at Utah State University.  She was the event planner for donors and alumni.  She is also no stranger to Real Estate.  Her husband had a Real Estate Brokerage Company for 27 years in the United States.

Cherie Soden moved to Ajijic in June 2004. She came for a visit to clear the cobwebs and baggage from her life and decided she liked living lighter. So, she left 25 successful years in sales and service in Washington State and followed the sun. Cherie lives every moment experiencing “the joy of the journey”. Lisa is originally from Cork, Ireland where she completed her schooling and Business School. While working in London for Gulf Oil Corporation, she met her husband-to-be, Dan, who was in London on a business trip from Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. After a few months and a whirlwind courtship they were married in London and she took up residence in Saudi Arabia. Their daughter, Heather Zaina was born in As Salama Hospital in Al Khobar. After 2 years they moved to Spain and then to London, where their son David Christopher was born in Queen Charlotte’s Hospital. From there, they moved to Beirut, Lebanon then on to Cairo, Egypt for several years and Dan accepted a transfer to Southern California. Several years there and they moved to Houston, Texas with Saudi Aramaco Oil and Gas Corporation. Some years later, Mexico called and they moved to Ajijic, near Guadalajara in 1997.

Lisa has been an Associate with Hernandez Realty Group for three years.

I was born in February of 1966 in the City of  Guadalajara Jalisco. I was taken by my parents to San Juan Cosala since I was a  3 month old baby, Since then spending all vacation and weekends, feeling the magic around, the people. I use to sail and waterskiing here in the lake. I was windsurfing state champion in 1982 and third place in 1983 also lots of competitions at the “Governor’s Cup” in Laser category.

When I was growing up Chapala and Ajijic where very diferent , there where no phones, traffic lights or two lane highway to Guadalajara so it is for me something amazing why locals  want to make it a big city, let it  remain as it is a magical town .

I also learned English at school. I attended  Cambridge U.K University. I lived  for 5 years in California and Louisiana but still having my Hispanic accent.

I haved worked almost all my life in sales, representing the most important  factories in Mexico for 13 years, as pacific area manager with two major brands, also selling from my little factory.

I haved always liked working in sales, it’s not just sale something, when you do it right and pleasing the buyer and seller, and having a good relationship with my clients , I love to meet and make new friends all the time..

I think Chapala is one of the best places on earth to live ,  the climate is the best in the world, people are so friendly and the magic in the air is felt around.

Beverley is a native Texas born in Lubbock, but living all of her adult life in Houston.  She has two daughters and one son that have given her four beautiful granddaughters and one “sure-to-be-spoiled” grandson. 

Beverley’s experience with Mexico began when she spent her fourteenth birthday in Cuernavaca.  She returned to go to summer school at what was Mexico City College when she was seventeen.  She loves all of Mexico, but was especially drawn to Ajijic when she and a friend visited for the first time in March, 2006.  The friend moved immediately and Beverley visited back and forth between Houston and Ajijic for one and one-half years.  At the end of 2007 Beverley became one of the permanent residents of that love Ajijic! 

Beverley has been a licensed Realtor in Texas since 1980 and now in is licensed in Ajijic.  Beverley has almost 28 years experience buying, selling and managing real estate in Texas.

Verónica is a native of Ajiic, Jalisco, the most beautiful town in Mexico, according to Verónica! She studied English in Ajijic, and has worked to perfect her job skills. She is married; the mother of one 9-year-old boy who likes painting and music, and a sassy, pretty, smart girl who likes to dance and sing.

She has been working at Hernandez Realty Group since 2000, starting as the assistant to the rental manager. She is now the Brokers' Assistant for International Realty located on Colon in downtown Ajijic. She assists clients in the preparation and finalization of their closing of sales. She is also responsible for keeping our listing inventory updated in the Multiple Listing Service and our website. She has a talent for graphic design and computer skills. i
